Hong Kong

Left home around 5 am , had breakfast at 'Quikbites' and took the 8 am flight. Had omelette, hot dog , youghurt , apple juice =Yummy. After alighting cathay , we had to take the 'skytrain' before we can arrive at the customs. It's like so weird?Taking an underground skytrain ...
Stayed at YMCA , near a shopping district.

I noticed that the buildings in HK are all very slim and tall. On the whole, 1 flat normally has around 40 levels, some at 70!



The most expensive condo in HK.
So the first night was just shopping around yau ma dei. Bought the Octopus card for travelling and also paying for items at 7-11 etc.
HK is quite 'Hi-tech'.

Even the traffic light is sensored.And not those pushing the button.

The hotel make up room service is another. Normally hotels have those signs that say"please make up room" but here, is electronic!


The MTR in HK is so large. They can have Exits A - L. And also Exit A1, A2. During peak hours, the MTR is so packed till people are squashed against each other,where there is not enough space that you gotta wait for the next MTR.Luckily it is only 1 min interval.


Not so peak hours.


Took a bus to Stanley Market.

Took the ferry to Tsim sha Tsui. That place is nicely lighted.

Half Day City Tour -
Aberdeen Fishing village ,Avenu of stars. . .

Had filming at Avenue of stars. On the way , i met Andy Lau.

This is where Jackie Chan stays. It's a nice view from the sea.

Took train to Shenzhen. Stayed at Days Inn. The hotel is darn beautiful. Best is that it is located just 2 minutes walk from the shopping area. The stuffs there are very very very cheap. Mcdonalds meal - burgers+drinks+fries= $4. Shoes selling only at $5, where some only at $2!!! Some long sleeve shirts at only $1.50 , and i bought 2 for only $10.A plate of meal can cost only $2.So, that area closes its shops at 11 30 pm. Of course,we shopped till 1130.After which at around 1145, had supper at a shop.Even if you enter the shop at 12 am , they'd still serve you.I wonder when is their closing time , huh? I got a new friend to be introduced in the next post, from Dongmen. ^ ^ Dongmen is a bit like xi men ding.North ,South,East ,West are all shops shops shops.Selling clothes, fast food , shoes,MP3,4,Ipod,Xbox.. whatever have you. Good for shoppers!

Window of the World. Something like the 7 wonders of the world, just that it is all miniatures. And so there's this Mini wall of china instead of the great wall of china. Lols.
I climbed the Eiffel Tower . It's quite scary as the stiars are steep.Though i did not climb till the top.No guts to do so.There's actually an elevator that brings people up to the top of the tower.And i mean really the peak of it.

Returned to HK via train.

Took the peak Tram up.The tracks are quite steep. 10 mins ride up where there is a shopping mall.

Didn't go into the wax museum. But i badly wanted to go in =[

Took the Tram to some shopping place. I think it costs onlt $0.50 .
Then . . . I went up the stairs to Tom Lee Music!!!!!


I saw guitars,keyboards ,flutes and of course PIANOS!!!
Bought 2 piano books and headed back to the hotel.

FANTASTIC place la

Headed for the airport for 8 pm flight. Their airport is quite big with shops like giordano . . . Popeye.Checked in and the person said that the seats are almost fully booked.Asked us if we wanted to stay 1 more night at HK. I want to la. . .
But ,anyway , still took the 8 pm flight. We sat separately. 2 by 2's. So , i had the front seat. Real front seat. Wathed "My super Ex-girlfriend".And there's this HK couple with their baby beside me. The baby started bawling when it was about time to touchdown. Hella noisy. Though the baby is cute. gaga. Reached singapore at 12 am and cabbed home.
